Front Desk and Office Coordinator – Volunteer

We are looking for a front desk/office coordinator for our office in Minneapolis. A minimum of a 4-hour shift is requested, but days and times are flexible.

Primary duties:

  • Front desk tasks such as answering the phone, welcoming guests, processing and distributing the mail
  • Light bookkeeping tasks
  • Answering emails sent to our general email account
  • Ordering office supplies
  • Occasional help with event planning
  • Occasional support of communication efforts (depending on skills and interest)
  • Occasionally supporting Executive Director with various tasks
  • Other tasks as needed

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Organized
  • Basic computer skills e.g. experience with Gmail/Word/Excel or willingness to learn
  • Dependable and friendly personality
  • Flexible and adaptable


  • Getting administrative experience in the work of a recognized non-profit organization
  • Free parking if needed
